I AM A BOYS CHOIR is an interdiscplinary collective.

I AM A BOYS CHOIR's work straddles performance, video, music, and installation. Our projects utilize clashing aesthetics, pop culture, personal relics/public histories, and a fair dose of camp to gleefully dissect serious conversations about personal politics, gender, community, and otherness.

I AM A BOYS CHOIR was formed in 2013 to ignite a shared desire for devised interdisciplinary work. We make "things" that stare unflinchingly at the dark side of our nature, that return to the forest but fuck the city, that believe that performing/creating is a process which can and must transform us.

I AM A BOYS CHOIR tirelessly searches out the the reasons for why we are where we are. And then laughs about all that while hugging puppies.
